My client, a leader within the energy price comparison and switching services, is looking for a commercial Category Manager to expand their business.
The business currently offers energy and gas price solutions and is looking to further their offering to their customers with energy efficiency services.
To drive this move, they are looking for a commercial and entrepreneurial individual to bring marketing and product channel experience, ideally developed within a retail or FMCG company.
With responsibility for creating product strategy, the candidate will need:
• An understanding of market trends and customer requirements – particularly SME’s, new service/product development, creating marketing propositions and taking the service/product to market
• A passion for the green space, but more importantly, an understanding of the business opportunities that this can create
• An ability to create partnerships within the energy efficiency space
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of brand management or category management for an FMCG or retail company, and/or bring their partnership management and marketing expertise from within the energy efficiency space.
This is an ideal role for someone who is commercially minded, entrepreneurial and looking to make a difference and develop within this green growth market.
