Industrial Business Development Executive

Our client is an established hazardous waste management company that prides itself on its service and the drive to be the best. They are currently looking to appoint an ambitious Business Development Executive for their expanding team based in the Midlands. This role is an established position and carries the responsibilities of account management and new business development.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
• To check and sign appropriate paperwork for incoming calls (e.g. duty of care and consignment notes)
• To perform sampling and verification of incoming waste chemicals and raise-non conformance reports as required
• To generate and develop new business in the Industrial Sector
• To generate revenue by developing new business opportunities and the existing customer base
The successful candidate must have:
• Experience in hazardous waste management
• Knowledge of the legislation associated with the hazardous waste industry
• Sales experience and a successful track record in their sector
• Attention to detail and the ability to communicate technical information to clients
• Good computer skills using MS office software
This role offers the opportunity for the right individual to learn and develop within one of the most highly regarded teams in the industry. There will be travel from time to time and a clean driving licence is required.
