Energy Storage and electrochemist researcher/engineer

We are working with one of the world’s leading producers and innovators in solar technology.

Due to expansion of their Photovoltaic research activities, an opportunity has arisen to join their multidisciplinary energy technologies team to work on new and original energy creating and energy saving technologies.

You will help establish and support their “Home energy Management Programme” and complement their existing solar research. This will be done by working with other like minded research engineers and scientists who are also passionate about turning their research into commercialized products.

Required:

• Very strong academic qualifications with a further degree in Engineering
• Track record in research – Hopefully backed up by publications, patents or other achievements
• Detailed experience in Electrochemistry, fuel cells or batteries
• Detailed experience in at least one of the following
I) Renewable and smart energy systems
II) Technology innovation
• High motivated and willingness to work as part of a team.

This is a fast growing sector and coupled with the new renewable tariffs promises to see further development of commercialized PV products on the UK/European market
